Tom Brady clears the air amid retirement rumors following “personal issues” with Gisele Bundchen.

Brady is a well-known quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the National Football League. He has been married to model Gisele Bundchen since 2009, but the couple has been the subject of divorce rumors after 13 years of marriage. Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian are the couple’s three children.

According to sources, the alleged split was precipitated by Tom’s decision to return to the sport after promising his wife Gisele that he would devote more time to their family.

Following the split rumors, Tom Brady has been the subject of contentious headlines as rumors of his retirement from football are linked to a recent comment by former Buccaneers quarterback Chris Simms.

Tom Brady is more likely to retire than Aaron Rodgers, according to the 42-year-old quarterback, because Brady is dealing with “personal issues,” referring to his rumored split with Gisele Bundchen.

Simms said during the mid-week press conference:

“Normally I’d feel like it’s Rodgers that would be that guy. But because of this year and some of the off-the-field stuff that’s hitting home and personal stuff with Brady, this is the one year I feel maybe it might be Brady.”

However, in a recent post on the Buccaneers’ official Instagram, Tom Brady debunked the retirement rumors by speaking openly about his love for his team and future plays.

Tom Brady joked:

“Well that’s really why I’m here, I’m here to announce, finally, you guys have pushed me to the brink.”

He then confirmed:

“I love the sport, I love the teammates, and I want to go do a good job for this team like I always have. So, no retirement in my future.”

Despite the divorce rumors, neither Tom Brady nor Gisele Bundchen’s representatives have confirmed or commented. However, the couple is said to have hired divorce lawyers and have been seen without their wedding rings. According to sources, Gisele left the family’s Tampa home after a fight to travel to Costa Rica.
