Kanye West has recently been the center of attention due to his outlandish comments and opinions about other people. It was recently reported that he is working with Johnny Depp’s lawyer to assist him amid his controversy.

The rapper works with Camille Vasquez and other lawyers to oversee his contracts, business deals, and other matters, according to sources close to the musician who spoke to TMZ, as The New York Post reported.

He’s reportedly hiring a legal team because he’s facing a financial fallout due to many brands dropping him due to his controversial remarks online and in recent interviews.

It all started when he posted on Facebook that he was “going death con 3 On Jewish People.”

Camille Vasquez rose to prominence after representing Johnny Depp in his high-profile case against Amber Heard earlier this year.

Many fans praised her for how she represented the actor in court. The lawyer, who works for the firm Brown Rudnick and specializes in litigation and arbitration, was once linked to the actor, with many claiming they were dating.

As of this writing, neither West nor Vasquez had confirmed or denied their collaboration.

The latest development comes just hours after Kering, Balenciaga’s parent company, confirmed to Women’s Wear Daily that they would no longer collaborate with West in the future.

The company said:

“Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist.”

The French fashion house did not provide any additional details about their latest move.

The “Donda” rapper has been a big collaborator for the brand recently, so the recent move was significant for both parties.

During Paris Fashion Week, West attended Balenciaga’s summer 2023 show, but the image was removed from their website as they cut ties with him.

The rapper and the brand’s creative director, Demna Gvasalia, had a very close relationship, according to The New York Times, and they exchanged messages “several times a day.”

He and Cédric Charbit, on the other hand, reportedly attended the fashion show, where the rapper wore a shirt that read “White Lives Matter.”
