Daniel Radcliffe recently revealed what traits he does not want his future child to possess.

At the age of 11, the former child actor rose to prominence as the main character in the “Harry Potter” franchise.

In a recent interview, the 33-year-old discussed how his experiences with childhood celebrities shaped how he plans to manage his children if and when they arrive.

According to Newsweek, the British actor wants to have his children on set.

“A dream would be for them to come onto a film set and be like ‘God, you know, I’d love to be in the art department. I’d love to be something in the crew.’ Some part of this, but not from that.”

But Radcliffe added that while he loves what he’s doing as an actor, he insisted:

“I wouldn’t want fame for my kid.”

Growing up in the spotlight had its advantages, according to the actor, but the celebrity that came with it should be “avoided at all costs.”

According to the “Victor Frankenstein” actor, if you can get into a situation where you’re on set without thinking:

“this is going to be a significant event in your life, that’s terrific.”

He said movie sets are “beautiful places,” and they can be great places for kids most of the time.

Radcliffe stressed:

“It’s basically the famous element of it that should be avoided at all costs.”

The eight-film “Harry Potter” series not only became a box-office success, but it also covered Radcliffe’s childhood and prepared him for life.

Daniel Radcliffe’s net worth is estimated to be $110 million, with a salary of $15 million.

Meanwhile, Daniel Radcliffe admitted to drinking alcohol to cope with his early success, claiming he was overly scrutinized.

In another “Off Camera” interview, the former child star stated that being “extremely intoxicated” was the quickest way for him to forget he was being watched.

He has been sober since 2010 and credits his friend with helping him overcome his addiction.

Daniel mentioned that one morning after a particularly difficult night, he realized what he was doing to himself wasn’t helping.

Daniel has been with his girlfriend, Erin Darke, for nearly ten years, since they met on the set of the 2013 film “Kill Your Darlings.”

The actor is currently appearing in the upcoming biopic “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” based on the polka singer.
