Tory Lanez shot rapper Megan Thee Stallion during an altercation in Hollywood Hills in July 2020.

He recently pleaded not guilty to charges of grossly negligent firearm discharge, carrying a loaded, unlicensed pistol in a moving vehicle, and assault with a semi-automatic weapon.

However, a jury in Los Angeles found him guilty on all three charges this week, according to CNN.

Following a disagreement, the “WAP” hitmaker claimed Tory shot her in the foot as she exited the car in which they were traveling.

Megan testified at trial that she, Tory, and her former friend and assistant, Kelsey Harris, had a difficult conversation inside the car.

According to Billboard, Megan testified that Tory asked her to tell Kelsey about their previous relationship because they were previously intimate. According to the magazine, Megan was hesitant to do so because she was aware that Kelsey had a crush on the Canadian singer-rapper.

As Megan stepped out of the car, Tory shot her in the foot.

Tory Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, claimed that Jay-Z was responsible for his son’s conviction because he signed Megan to his record label Roc Nation in June 2022.

Beyonce’s husband was accused of “trading and bartering the souls of young men” outside the courtroom, according to Sonstar.

His son, Daystar Peterson, became enraged and declared that the decision was the “greatest miscarriage of justice this planet has ever seen.”

Along with blaming Beyonce, the well-known father spoke out against what he saw as an injustice.

Tory Lanez is currently incarcerated and awaiting his sentence for the shooting in which he was found guilty.

According to AllHipHop, the incident involving Tory Lanez’s father may have a significant impact on the case despite the fact that it shouldn’t, even if everyone in the world has already formed an opinion about it.

After his entire family was caught on camera outside the courthouse, it quickly devolved into a pointless spectacle that drew more attention than the actual case.

According to sources who told AllHipHop that Tory’s family’s actions made a mockery of the court, the family has likely injured themselves more now than ever before the case ruling.

They wrote:

“Like other big cities that maintain an iron fist of law and order, they want to be the ones in control.”

“Now, it looks as though Tory will get a couple of years, tacked onto his sentence because of his father’s post-verdict outburst.”

Sonstar should not have done something, such as “jumping the gun,” according to the website.
