Adele, Nicki Minaj collab finally happening? Singer reveals truth about rumored team up

Rumors of Adele and Nicki Minaj collaborating have circulated for several months.

This came after Adele spits out one of Minaj’s most iconic verses to date – her “Monster” rap – during a Carpool Karaoke ride with James Corden.

Barbz and Adele fans have been raving about the two stars’ meeting, as the two are huge fans of each other.

Adele’s rap clip has since gone viral on social media, with many praising her for her surprisingly natural ability to rap.

Minaj responded to Adele’s rendition of her iconic rap verse earlier this year by belting one of Adele’s most famous songs, “Someone Like You,” channeling the superstar’s distinctive northern British accent.

The two already had the most-anticipated collaboration, as James Corden stitched Adele’s version and Nicki Minaj’s Carpool Karaoke version of the same verse – and the gestures and facial expressions are unbelievably in sync!

But that may be the closest thing the two stars have to a duet – Adele has only recently spoken out about the critically acclaimed collaboration.

One fan clarified the story to the British songstress:

“There was a rumor that you did a collab with Nicki Minaj once..”

She gushed:

“Oh no, no. I mean I love her. Umm, no. I never saw that. That’s so bizarre. That’s nearly ever happened. I don’t know why people think that.”

The fan then interjected, stating that it was after the “iconic Monster video.”

She pointed out:

“I think she’s wonderful coz I’ve always loved Nicki Minaj. She’s a real vibe.”

Despite this, fans believe that a collaboration between the two will occur in the future.
