Ricky Martin just made a heartbreaking decision amid the holiday season.

After one of his nephews accused him of abuse and incest, the global singer-dancer reportedly decided to cut ties with his family to protect himself from further embarrassment. Radar Online reported this.

Dennis Yadiel Sanchez revealed at the start of the year that he and the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” hitmaker had been dating for seven months.

He went on to say that after their relationship ended, Ricky became an obsessive stalker of him. On the other hand, the performer denied the allegations, claiming that his nephew made them up.

His legal case against his uncle was eventually dismissed. A representative of Ricky’s attorneys stated at the time:

“The accuser requested the case be dismissed.”

“This was never anything more than a disturbed person making unfounded claims without any evidence to support them. We are pleased that justice was served for our client, who may now go on with his life and profession.”

Then, in September, Ricky Martin filed a $20 million lawsuit against Dennis, claiming that Dennis had told lies that cost him multi-million dollar engagements.

According to a source who spoke with the magazine, Ricky is no longer taking any chances while battling Dennis in court because other members of his family could still file lawsuits in an attempt to make a desperate money grab.

According to the source cited by Radar Online, everyone talks about what happens to someone after they become famous. But no one ever talks about what happens to a celebrity’s family when they become multimillionaires or powerful figures overnight.

The insider revealed:

“Ricky was always very kind to his family.”

Because he was the cash cow, he made certain that everyone benefited from his success.

Ricky, however:

“had thrown up barriers following the terrible charges made by his half-sister’s kid.”

It’s terrible, but Ricky’s family can’t be trusted anymore.

However, Ricky Martin is no longer alone. He is, after all, married to Jwan Yosef, with whom he has four children: Renn Martin-Yosef, Matteo Martin, and Lucia Martin-Yosef.

Their wedding took place in 2017.

Matteo and Valentino were born in 2018 via surrogacy.

Ricky Martin’s estimated net worth as of December 2022 is $130 million, according to Wealthy Gorilla.

He is known as the “King of Latin Pop,” as well as an actor and novelist.
