Fans of Harry Styles, beware! Following the postponement of his show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles last week, it appears that the singer could not continue performing due to a minor health issue; is the pop star okay?

Taking to Instagram, the former One Direction member revealed that he became ill at the end of his show last Wednesday.

He had been confined to his bed since then due to the flu. He tried his hardest to perform for his fans in California again, but after consulting with a doctor, he was devastated to learn that it was impossible.

He added:

“I haven’t had to postpone a show due to illness in the 12 years I’ve been touring. I’m so sorry to do it, and if there was anyway I could do the show I would.”

Styles then apologized to his fans, saying he was sorry the announcement came so close to his performance.

He wrote:

“It was my sincerest hope to be able to play for you tonight. I know several of you have planned trips to LA to see the show, and it means the absolute world to me.”

To conclude his statement, the “Sushi for a Music Restaurant” hitmaker revealed that his canceled shows on November 5, 6, and 7 had been rescheduled for January 26, 27, and 29 next year.

Styles’ Los Angeles show is considered a mini-residency. He’ll be back on stage in the city from November 9 to 15.

His official website has the complete schedule and venues for his tour.

Styles canceled his highly anticipated performance at the Kia Forum just a few days ago.

The iconic venue announced on Twitter that the singer’s November 4 concert has been canceled due to a “band illness.”

The pop star’s team did not reveal whether he was affected by the illness then, but fans quickly shared videos of Styles where he appeared to have cracked his voice the night before.

This was not the first time the former boyband member canceled a show; he also postponed a performance in Chicago last month due to the “illness” of a band/crew member.

Many fans were outraged on social media because the announcement was made at the last minute, and some had traveled for hours just to get to the venue.
