Greta Van Fleet fans may have to wait a little longer, as the band recently announced that they would cancel a few road shows due to an unfortunate circumstance.

Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band comprised of three brothers: Josh Kiszka, Jake Kiszka, and Sam Kiszka, as well as their drummer friend Danny Wagner.

According to Billboard, the band has canceled four shows as part of their “Dreams in Gold” US tour.

Greta Van Fleet will cancel four concerts on November 8-9 and 11-12, 2022, in El Paso, Texas, Tucson, Arizona, Anaheim, California, and Sacramento, California.

Greta Van Fleet vocalist Josh Kiszka shared some bad news with his fans about his health and recovery in a statement.

He said in a video message:

“I just wanted to express how beautiful and how awe-inspiring these couple of shows have really been, truly. Also, unfortunately, they’ve been rather painful. The last time I spoke with you, I had asked for your understanding; I was dealing with a ruptured eardrum. Unfortunately, while the eardrum continues to heal, it also has continued to cause me great deal of physical pain, which has made it very difficult to perform.”

The band last performed with Josh last Saturday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. According to Josh, he had been fighting the pain for more than a week, pushing through every show just to give their fans what they deserved.

He continued:

“I think I need a period of time for more healing. Unfortunately, that means rescheduling the shows for the rest of this month, which kills me to do this, especially on such a short notice. I’m truly sorry to everyone in El Paso, Tucson, Anaheim and Sacramento. This year has been an extremely humbling experience. I can’t begin to thank all of you enough for your seemingly endless support and understanding.”

Meanwhile, fans who opted out of the rescheduled dates were assured that their tickets would be refunded. However, as of this writing, no concert dates have been announced.

Greta Van Fleet canceled a series of concerts earlier this year due to the same ear injury that Kiszak suffered.
