Lindsay Lohan wants to make new music after the success of her Christmas movie. She used to be a singer, but she stopped for a while to focus on her personal life and dabbled in acting here and there. She now claims she paused out of consideration for her sister.
The Mean Girls actress released her debut album, “Speak,” in 2004, followed by “A Little More Personal (Raw)” the following year.
Lindsay returned to the music industry in 2020 with the single “Back to Me,” and she stated in an interview with Who What Wear that she has more songs ready for release.
She has now stated that she has slowed down on her singing because her sister’s greatest love is singing, and competing with that can be detrimental.
On the other hand, she was busy writing new songs while waiting for a chance to come back. She revealed that she had written a slew of songs that are currently in the works. She said she might release another album in five years.
Lindsay is promoting her Netflix holiday film “Falling for Christmas” and developing a new romantic comedy called Irish Wish. Lindsay has no immediate plans to record music, but she is open to performing in a musical. She stated that this was her dream.
She also wishes to appear in a superhero film. She stated that the one thing she has yet to do that she would like to do is join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Aliana Lohan’s song “Without You,” written in 2021, is featured in her sister Lindsay’s film Falling for Christmas, along with Glee alums Chord Overstreet and Jack Wagner.
At the end of 2017, Aliana released the song “I Will Stand,” which she dedicated to the most influential women. She said she wrote this song for my mother, Dina, and grandmother, Anna. She praised her mother for being one of the toughest women she knew, and she adored her. She told OK! that this song demonstrates that nothing can break a family’s bond if they stay on God’s path.
She has, however, made tremendous progress. In the early 2000s, Aliana was already making music, but it was mostly Christmas-themed. She sang on the compilation album ‘Totally Awesome Christmas,’ before receiving her own Christmas-themed album, ‘Lohan Holiday.’ Both albums were critically panned, and it’s easy to see why.
Lindsay and Ali’s mother Dina were featured in some of the songs, and the lyrics don’t get much deeper than “I love Christmas, I’d like a ride on a one horse open sleigh, I love Christmas, fa la la la, la la all the way” from the first song.
