Glover spoke candidly to NBC News about her reaction to the situation, saying:
“That definitely affected me … and by me not really posting on social media and stuff, definitely when you’re not letting people know what you do every day, you kind of lose that audience.”
Following that, the 33-year-old singer maintained a low-key career in music. Glover has followed through by writing songs and distributing them through Sound Cloud.
Glover appeared in the Christmas musical “Home for the Holidays” in 2017. When she was cast in the musical, the musician was able to showcase her vocal abilities on Broadway.
