Elton John just finished his historic “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour” at Dodger Stadium last weekend, earning millions of dollars in the United States alone; how much did he earn overall on his tour in the United States?

According to Billboard, the music legend’s three Los Angeles shows grossed $23.5 million and sold over 143,000 tickets.

Including recent shows, the “Your Song” hitmaker has made $749.9 million and sold 5 million tickets since launching the tour in 2018.

Despite earning a lot of money, John is only ranked second in the world for the highest-grossing tour, with Ed Sheeran still holding the record with $776.4 million.

However, the musician still has 50 shows scheduled for Australia and Europe next year, which means he could break the “Shape Of You” hitmaker’s record.

The singer’s stadium shows in North America added $221.1 million to his total earnings.

According to Wealthy Gorilla, the 75-year-old legend’s estimated net worth as of 2022 is around $500 million, thanks to his million-dollar-generating tour, album sales, and music catalog.

According to The Things, John makes money outside of music through endorsement deals. He makes at least $2.8 million per year. He previously appeared in an Uber Eats commercial alongside Lil Nas X.

Elton John spends his money in a variety of ways. He reportedly spent $450,000 on flowers when he was dating his manager John Reid, although there was no special occasion at the time.

He also enjoys high-end items such as sports cars. He paid the same amount for flowers as his Pink Phantom Rolls Royce V.

Furthermore, John wants to own the best things and live the life of a celebrity, so he reportedly spent $26 million on a mega yacht called Wabi Sabi. This luxurious water vehicle can accommodate 8 guests and 12 crew members.

Finally, he owns properties worldwide, including mansions in Old Windsor, Beverly Hills, Atlanta, Nice, and London. He spent $50 million on opulently designed homes to be comfortable whenever he takes a break.
