Trey Songz has been the subject of much controversy recently, and many people have forgotten that he is an R&B singer and rapper, but what has he been up to?

After the release of his debut album “I Gotta Make It” in the early 2000s, the now-38-year-old rose to prominence.

He has since released a number of albums. His sophomore album, “Trey Day,” was released in 2007, followed by “Ready” in 2009, “Passion, Pain & Pleasure” in 2010, “Chapter V,” in 2012, “Trigga.” in 2015, and his most recent album, “Back Home,” in 2020.

While he is no longer actively making music, he is said to have a net worth of $12 million.

According to reports, Songz’s first run-in with the law occurred in December 2016 when he was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer.

Keke Palmer accused the singer of putting her in his “Pick Up The Phone” music video without her permission in 2017.

She took to Twitter and revealed what happened behind the scenes:

“After you found me in a closet hiding because I was so afraid of anymore conflict.

Literally my last option was to hide because you all would not listen when I said I did not want to be in the video the first time.”

He also allegedly used “sexual intimidation” and bribed her with food and drinks, according to her.

While Palmer did not charge the singer, she was the one who brought his questionable behavior and actions against women to light.

Songz was sued by an unnamed woman earlier this year. He was accused of sexually assaulting her at a house party in 2016. The $20 million lawsuit was later formally dismissed, according to Complex.

According to NBC News, he was accused and sued in 2018 for assaulting a woman in a Miami nightclub.

Songz was in the news again in late October after allegations of assaulting another woman surfaced. According to reports, the singer beat and dragged the unnamed woman by her hair at a bowling alley in New York City.
