Hailee Steinfeld has been steadily establishing herself in the entertainment industry since her starring role in the 2010 western film “True Grit” catapulted her to international prominence.
Hailee Steinfeld, an American television and film actress and pop singer, has a net worth of $12 million.
Since her dramatic debut, Hailee has appeared in several high-profile films. Her entry into the music industry is equally triumphant. Hailee is well-known for her roles in television shows such as “Dickinson,” as well as her appearances on the big screen.
She is also a skilled voice actress, appearing in the critically acclaimed animated film “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”
Steinfeld has been actively pursuing a music career since 2015, when she performed “Flashlight” in the film “Pitch Perfect 2.” After signing a record label contract, Hailee released her debut EP “Haiz” in 2015. Many of her songs have charted well since then, and in 2020, Steinfeld released an EP titled “Half Written Story.”
After signing with Republic Records, Hailee released her debut single, “Love Myself.” The song drew much attention from fans and critics alike, and she followed up with the Haiz EP. Despite the EP’s poor reception, Steinfeld collaborated with artists such as Joe Jonas and Cole Whittle.
In 2016, Hailee released the single “Starving.” This was a huge hit, going platinum in the United States and the United Kingdom. “Starving” has also been certified double platinum in Australia and triple platinum in Canada. In 2016, Steinfeld appeared in the comedy “The Edge of Seventeen.”
Hailee was nominated for a Golden Globe after receiving positive reviews. Steinfeld returned to “Pitch Perfect 3” in 2017 and released several new songs. Her single “Let Me Go” reached number fourteen on the Billboard Hot 100.
During this time, Hailee dated well-known celebrities such as Niall Horan and Cameron Smoller. When “Fifty Shades Freed” was released in 2018, Steinfeld’s song “Capital Letters” was included on the soundtrack. Before starring in the 2018 film “Bumblebee,” Steinfeld went on several musical tours. In “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” she also had a prominent voice-acting role. In the following years, Hailee worked with Drax Project, Benny Blanco, Juice Wrld, and various other artists.
She recently released her new single “Coast” and its music video and was asked to elaborate on the theme. It was anything but inspiring.
She explained:
“This song really is about being free and letting go and losing all inhibitions and just going with the flow and trusting your energy and breathing in, not forgetting to take those deep breaths and just live your life, not take it too seriously. And that was, and very much still is, the headspace that I am and was in when creating this song. And even making the video, it’s a fun visual escape. And that’s ‘Coast.'”
