Following the conclusion of their six-part docuseries last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to release a new Netflix project.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are executive producers on the upcoming documentary series “Live to Lead,” which will premiere before the end of the year.

The couple appeared in a trailer for the project, which will highlight the work of various leaders and activists, released by Netflix on Monday.

Prince Harry said in the teaser:

“This was inspired by Nelson Mandela, who once said, ‘What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived.'”

Markle added:

“It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”

Leaders and activists will “reflect on their legacies and share messages of courage, compassion, humility [and] hope,” according to People.

The late U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, climate change activist Greta Thunberg, social justice attorney and advocate Bryan Stevenson, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, South Africa’s national rugby union team captain and campaigner Siya Kolisi, feminist activist Gloria Steinem, and anti-apartheid activist Albie Sachs, among others, will appear on the show.

The trailer included a clip from Thunberg’s speech at the 2019 United Nations Climate Action Summit.

She said:

“The eyes of all future generations are upon you and if you choose to fail us, we will never forgive you.”

Ardern says this in one trailer clip before cutting to another scene in which she is seen hugging someone:

“As leaders, we have the keys to create a sense of security and a sense of hope.”

According to the teaser, the series is “about people who have made courageous choices.”

Markle added:

“To fight for change and to become leaders.”

The Duke of Sussex said:

“And giving inspiration to the rest of us. To live, to lead.”

The news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix project came just days after the second and final volume of their docuseries “Harry & Meghan” was released on the streaming service.

The first three episodes of the series focused on Prince Harry and Markle’s relationship and marriage, while the final three episodes focused on their 2020 royal exit and relationship with the British royal family.

In one episode, Prince Harry claimed that his older brother, Prince William, “screamed” at him for deciding to step down as a working member of the royal family.

In addition, Harry claimed he had nothing to do with the “joint statement” denying Prince William had bullied him and Markle out of the royal family.

He said in one episode:

“I couldn’t believe it. No one had asked me permission to put my name to a statement like that. And I rang [Meghan], and I told her, and she burst into floods of tears. Because within four hours, they were happy to lie to protect my brother, and yet for three years they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”

In the final episode, the Duke of Sussex stated that they were moving on and did not expect a genuine apology from the members of the firm.

He said in episode 6:

“I’ve had to make peace with the fact that we’re probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology. My wife and I, we’re moving on. We’re focused on what’s coming next.”

“Live to Lead” will premiere on December 31.
