The Beckhams, like any other family, have their own set of Christmas traditions, one of which was revealed to the rest of the world by Victoria Beckham herself.

The Spice Girls alum took to Instagram to share a cozy photo of her husband, David Beckham, posing by the fireplace with their three children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, who were all dressed in matching pajamas.

She captioned the sweet picture with:

“Dad keeping up with the Beckham family tradition!”

But what really caught everyone’s attention was the next line:

“We love and miss you [Brooklyn Beckham] x Kisses.”

She tagged her other children in the post.

Their eldest child, Brooklyn, was noticeably absent from the Christmas gathering, as he was reportedly spending the holidays with his in-laws, the Peltz, in Los Angeles.

The Beckhams must be disappointed that their eldest son is not at home for the holidays; after all, their other son, Romeo, hurried back home after enjoying a getaway with his girlfriend, according to the Daily Mail UK.

Brooklyn appears to be starting a new Christmas tradition by spending the holidays with his in-laws.

According to reports, he posted photos of himself and his wife, Nicola Peltz, dressed in black, posing in front of a Christmas tree.

He captioned the post:

“Merry Christmas Eve from me and my baby.”

Brooklyn’s first Christmas with the Peltz family follows her marriage in April of this year.

The wedding was lavish, but what drew everyone’s attention was Peltz’s gown, a Valentino wedding gown—not Victoria’s designs.

Posh Spice, according to reports, took the wedding dress snub personally and avoided her new daughter-in-law for several days after the wedding.

According to a source, Peltz and Victoria “can’t stand each other and don’t talk.”

Furthermore, Peltz addressed the wedding gown controversy, stating that she and her mother-in-law have no ill will:

“I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.”

“She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”

Brooklyn also responded to the rumors, saying:

“I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good.”
