Fans were outraged after learning about another Adele residency event in Las Vegas that cost an eye-watering $5 million.
When the first Las Vegas Grand Prix ticket prices were announced, with regular seats costing around $2,400, eyebrows were quickly raised.
That is nothing compared to Caesars Entertainment’s $5 million “Emperor Package,” which will include only two tickets to see Adele perform at her “Weekends with Adele” shows in Sin City, but 12 seats to the Formula 1 race.
The ultra-exclusive VIP package will include 12 Paddock Club Tickets, a five-night stay at Nobu Sky Villa, a private dinner with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and a 24-hour butler in addition to two tickets to Adele’s residency at Caesars Palace.
After hearing about the pricey package offer, Adele fans took to Twitter to criticize the costs and the fact that the package only included two tickets to her concert.
One fan who was frightened and surprised by the news, said:
“Absolutely horrible that F1 is even permitting this.”
“Why would I even think about attending a race in the US when I can simply travel to Europe to see one for a fraction of the price, which includes flight and lodging?”
According to a second person who mocked the package deal, the two residency tickets for the “Easy On Me” singer “truly cement the deal if they were on the fence of why would you spend $5 million,”
Some people have pointed out that the package includes 12 tickets to each perk but not to the Grammy-winning singer’s event.
A third individual said:
“This is so stupid! Is this what a Formula 1 Emperor Package has come to? I’m furious that there are only two tickets for Adele’s residency at Caesars Palace when we need twelve! Fix this.”
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali defended the ticket prices, but many others criticized the entire package because of how much it costs.
Because this is Las Vegas, and that is the nature of the clientele who visits Las Vegas, he went on:
“In terms of pricing placement we are going to be on the top side.”
Only last week was it revealed that Adele earned approximately $13 million in the previous year. This is entirely due to the success of her album “30” and the start of her Las Vegas residency last year.
Adele’s net worth is currently estimated to be $220 million.
