Shaquille O’Neal has just proposed marriage to GloRilla.

The rising Memphis rapper has been extremely busy in recent months as her popularity in the music industry has grown. Beginning with her April release of “F.N.F (Let’s Go),” GloRilla went on to release more songs and an EP while establishing collaborations with other artists.

She recently released her EP “Anyways, Life’s Great,” and she was featured on Latto’s single “FTCU (F-k the Club Up)” with rapper Gangsta Boo.

Aside from fan love and support, she received a marriage proposal from the NBA legend.

O’Neal surprised everyone over the holiday weekend when he wrote something during GloRilla and Druski’s Instagram Live conversation. The 50-year-old wrote, “Glo will u marry me?” while they were discussing her new music.

GloRilla has yet to respond to his comment. While O’Neal is single, his statement is merely a joke, as he is known for posting playful messages on social media. Fans teased the athlete about the rapper, but others claimed he was simply a fan.

The 23-year-old hip-hop artist was named Best Hip Hop Artist at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards. She was also nominated for Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist and Best Song of the Year at the American Music Awards and the BET Hip Hop Awards.

GloRilla will compete for the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance for her song “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” next year.

O’Neal’s words of praise were released a decade after he and his now-ex-wife, Shaunie, filed for divorce. They have four children together and have been married for nine years.

Their divorce was reportedly caused by his infidelity.

On an E! News segment on December 1, the athlete admitted that ending his nine-year marriage is his biggest regret in life.

He said:

“You don’t know how good you got something till it’s gone. I mentioned about having a 76,000-square-foot house and nobody in there. That was all my fault. I didn’t do the right thing and I definitely paid for it.”

In his memoir “Shaq Uncut: My Story,” published in 2011, O’Neal admitted to cheating on the former “Basketball Wives” star. While he never did it “disrespectfully,” he admitted that he should not have done it all.
