Taylor Swift is on a roll. She’s been releasing albums left and right, and she’s been making money despite not having a tour in a couple of years.

She was named to Billboard’s list of the Top Global Money Makers of 2021, along with Harry Styles, BTS, Drake, and the Rolling Stones.

She is said to have earned $65.8 million in sales and streaming royalties. She also has a global streaming count of 15.6 billion.

These figures do not include a tour, which is a significant source of revenue in the music industry, but that will change very soon, as she is about to embark on her highly anticipated “Eras Tour.”

Forbes magazine estimates that the “Fearless” singer could earn up to $620 million from the tour alone.

According to David Herlihy, professor and Music Industry Program Coordinator at Northeaster University, the tour could generate well over $500 million in ticket sales alone, with over $12 million of that going to Ticketmaster.

The day the “Eras Tour” pre-sale began, thousands, if not millions, of fans eagerly lined up to purchase tickets for the tour, which will reportedly feature a tracklist spanning decades of Swift’s discography.

It’s no surprise that fans are fighting for tickets as if they were fighting for their lives.

Swift has released three new albums since her last tour, “Folklore,” “Evermore,” and “Midnights,” as well as a rerecorded album, “Red.”

Numerous songs from the singer’s three new albums have yet to be performed live, so fighting for tickets to the tour feels a lot like the “Hunger Games,” as some fans compare it to.

The “Eras Tour” follows the singer’s “Reputation Stadium Tour,” which grossed $345 million and made her the third highest-grossing female musician tour.

Swift has a reported net worth of $400 million, and her numerous homes across the country and private jets attest to her wealth.

Swift has 10 studio albums, three live albums, four EPs, two rerecordings, 18 compilations, and one limited edition.
