Kanye West was reportedly problematic for Julia Fox.
Months after Fox and West’s brief relationship ended, the actress opened up about it in an interview with ES Magazine. The reason for the two’s breakup was revealed in the article published on Thursday.
The 32-year-old “Uncut Gems” star first addressed rumors that she only used and benefited from West. She dismissed the claim, claiming that the “Jesus is King” rapper pursued her and asked for her phone number through a mutual friend.
Although they had a romantic spark, it allegedly hit Fox when she saw the first sign of a red flag.
According to Fox, her lifestyle while dating Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband was so exhausting that she couldn’t even fly once a week. She then went into detail about the red flag, mentioning the rapper’s public divorce from the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” alum.
She stated:
“The unresolved issues that he was dealing with. It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it, or the energy. I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it.”
Nonetheless, Fox admitted that she was proud of herself for assisting herself in staying out of that situation for a longer period.
Her most recent statement contradicted what she told The New York Times in March. Fox stated that their hectic schedules forced them to part ways at the time.
She did mention the toxic lifestyle when she admitted to losing 15 pounds during their relationship.
Following her remark, she slams Kardashian, mocking the KKW Beauty mogul’s parenting methods.
The Daily Star cited the question she posed to her followers after discovering the TikTok trend, asking:
“What’s considered trashy if you’re poor but classy if you’re rich?”
While some of her followers supported her, others defended her, calling her a great mother who taught her children to behave well.
Kardashian has yet to respond to Fox, but she recently revealed her plans for her love life following her split from Pete Davidson. She told “Late Late Show With James Corden” that she wants to relax for the time being but plans to date “a scientist, neuroscientist, biochemist, doctor, and attorney” soon.
