Meghan McCain is sharing some good news on social media after leaving “The View” last year to care for her family and recover from a miscarriage.

The columnist revealed to the Daily Mail UK that she and her husband Ben Domenech are expecting their first child. The TV personality expressed her gratitude for the new addition to her family, saying she feels “so blessed.”

The former “The View” co-host did not reveal the exact date of her birth, but she did hint to fans that the new baby would be born this winter.

She expressed:

“We are more than halfway to meeting our newest daughter, and we couldn’t be more excited.”

In her statement, the conservative host thanked fans and supporters for their good wishes and “overwhelming kindness.”

According to the outlet, McCain has been trying to conceal her baby bump in recent social media photos, including one from North Carolina in which she can be seen placing a purse in front of her stomach.

Earlier this year, the TV personality appeared on People Magazine’s “Me Becoming Mom” podcast, where she discussed her tragic miscarriage in 2019.

When asked what happened, she revealed that her doctor had taken her blood work and discovered the bad news the next day.

McCain appeared on Seth Myers at a time she describes as “disastrous,” and she didn’t understand anything.

Her doctor left the host perplexed after telling her that her HCG levels should be doubling and that her numbers were abnormal.

She initially assumed that miscarriages would result in bleeding, but she had a different experience.

According to the author of “Bad Republican,” the doctor was in her apartment, and they hid the baby books she bought for the baby because they knew she was having a miscarriage.

According to early reports, Meghan McCain left her spot on “The View” hosts’ panel despite having two years left on her contract with ABC.

During her shocking TV announcement, the host stated that leaving the show was not an easy decision, but COVID-19 changed her outlook on life, and she wanted to spend more time with her family after the birth of her first child.

McCain did not want to commute from city to city because “The View” was filmed in New York City, and she had already relocated to Washington, DC, to focus on her family.

Cindy McCain, her mother, previously stated that she is glad her daughter “choosed a little bit of family” over work.
