According to royal watchers, Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, do not intend to reconcile with Meghan Markle.
Years after the royal Fab Four split up, Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry, and Meghan reunited to speak to royal fans outside Windsor Castle following Queen Elizabeth II’s death. Photos of them appeared to give royal fans hope that they would work together again, but that will never happen.
Insiders recently told Radar Online that the “cordial” photos are deceptive.
An insider said:
“While William might have invited Harry and Meghan on the walkabout, he did it to protect one institution: the monarchy. He has not forgiven Harry for everything that he has done to the family, and the death of the Queen won’t mend that open wound.”
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Cambridge is on high alert because she does not want to be mentioned in Prince Harry’s book or Meghan Markle’s podcast.
The Duke of Sussex has already stated that his book will not be canceled. Instead, he will update it to reflect the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
According to royal insiders, Prince William and Kate will never forgive Meghan for everything she has done to the royal family due to his decision. They also warned that the Sussexes’ interactions with other royals would be nothing more than politeness.
The comments came after Buckingham Palace announced that only working royals would attend King Charles III’s state event on Sunday.
According to Hello Magazine, the upcoming event will be held for working royals, heads of state, official overseas guests, and other important people before Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
As a result, Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan will not attend the special event.
The Sussexes were also chastised for exiting Westminster Hall holding hands. It was deemed inappropriate for the occasion by royal fans. Others defended them as Zara Tindall and her husband, Mike Tindall, held hands.
During Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021, Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, did the same thing.
