Luke Bryan, a well-known figure in the country music industry, has previously attended and even hosted some events. He most recently co-hosted the 56th annual Country Music Awards with Peyton Manning.
Although his most recent hosting gig was a success, there was a shocking incident when he got drunk at a previous event he hosted; what happened?
The country singer opened up about his personal life in an interview with NELK’s “Full Send” podcast, including one of his wildest moments.
Initially, the 46-year-old singer stated that he enjoys getting a little tipsy before going on stage, and his drink of choice is a cup of grapefruit juice mixed with vodka.
He enjoys performing while under the influence of alcohol because he would mess up the lyrics if he went on stage sober.
However, there was an unexpected moment when he hosted a charity event at his home and drank an entire bottle of Casamigos tequila on stage, which he would never forget.
He said:
“We had a charity event at my house and I drank a whole bottle… it was not the time to do it, and I drank a whole bottle of Casamigos on stage… it was bad.”
Bryan noticed that there were a lot of people jamming at his house. Although his guests were not “offended” by his actions, his neighbors who were sitting on their back porch were.
Fortunately for the country singer, authorities did not intervene despite the fact that he cursed on the microphone and “a million people heard it throughout the county.”
The musician knew what to do the next day and had to make some phone calls.
Luke Bryan is kicking off 2023 by being confirmed as one of the star-studded artists performing at this year’s Bash On The Bay Music Festival.
According to 19 News Cleveland, the country star will headline the August 24 show, which will also feature Brothers Osborne, Adam Doleac, Cory Farly, and Dylan Scott.
