Since releasing her smash debut single “Driver’s License” two years ago, the singer has been sweeping the music world. The pop star is now a Grammy Award-winning artist. Learn more about the singer-songwriter below.

The Disney star turned 20 on February 20, 2003, in Murrieta, California. She recently shared a photo of herself on Instagram just hours before her birthday.

The singer appears to be in a recording studio in the photo, with a microphone beside her. She was dressed in a black jacket, sunglasses, and earphones.

She wrote, referring to Wheatus’ hit song “Teenage Dirtbag,” which became popular in recent years due to a social media challenge:

“2day is my last day of being a teenage dirtbag,”

Olivia Rodrigo was raised by her mother, a school teacher, and her father, a family therapist. Because her father is Filipino-American, the musician was raised in a Filipino-American household.

According to the singer, her great-grandfather moved to the United States from his home country of the Philippines, and their family still adheres to traditions and culture.

Regarding her musical background, it appears that Rodrigo has had an innate talent for harmony and rhythm since she began taking piano lessons at six.

She later honed her skills by taking vocal lessons, acting classes, and singing classes. Despite being of a younger generation, the “deja vu” songstress grew up listening to Pearl Jam, Green Day, No Doubt, and other bands because her parents were fans of them.

Rodrigo’s career took off after he appeared on the Disney show “Bizaardvark” in 2016. She later starred in “High School Musical: The Musical Series” as one of the main characters.

Olivia Rodrigo’s career is now more successful than ever, with a net worth of $8 million.

Regarding new music following her smash hit “Sour,” the pop star teased fans last month that she’s “working on so many new songs” and can’t wait for her fans, dubbed Livies, to hear them.

Despite teasers, Rodrigo has yet to reveal more details about her new album’s tracklist, featured artists, and official release date.
