Ellen DeGeneres revelation: Portia de Rossi’s wife secretly reached out to Anne Heche’s family after actress died?

Ellen DeGeneres apparently felt tearful after discovering that her ex-girlfriend, Anne Heche, died one week after being involved in an accident.

In Touch Weekly said in its August 29 edition that, despite the fact that DeGeneres and Heche had not communicated in almost two decades, the comedian was devastated by the news of her ex-girlfriend’s death.

The unnamed tipster shared:

“She’s been extremely emotional. Even though they hadn’t spoken in two decades, old feelings come up when something like this happens. Ellen also privately reached out to Anne’s family with her condolences. She’s devastated. Contacting them wasn’t easy. She thought she’d be strong but she dissolved into tears.”

According to the insider, DeGeneres only has memories to remember Heche by. After all, the late actress was there for her during all of the issues and critiques she endured years ago. It added:

“It’s hard to imagine how Ellen would have handled it all if it wasn’t for Anne. People forget that together they made a huge cultural impact.”

After three years of dating, the exes decided to call it quits in 2000, and it was Heche who made the decision. And the comic was reportedly stunned to learn that Heche was dating a male.

DeGeneres hasn’t spoken to her ex-girlfriend since. Despite the fact that they have been apart for years, the comedian regards Heche as a strong lady.

“Ellen realizes how brave Anne was and shared that with her relatives in a way to get closure. Ellen truly loved her and feels terrible about how Anne’s life ended.”

However, the statements of the tabloid should be taken with a grain of salt. There has been no sign that DeGeneres has reached out to Heche’s family to express her sympathies.

In truth, DeGeneres and Heche were not on good terms before to the latter’s death. According to rumors, Portia de Rossi’s wife was still suffering from the idea that Heche dated her only for the purpose of advancing her acting career.

In a previous interview, DeGeneres accused Heche of having an agenda. In addition, the comic stated that her ex-girlfriend did really utilize her.
