Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen reportedly have so many problems in paradise that the latter has issued a request.
According to Radar Online, the supermodel pressured her husband to retire from football soon after returning to the league.
Brady’s obsession with football has caused friction between him and his wife, and it appears to have drawn a line between them.
In February, Brady announced his retirement from football after 22 years of service. During that time, he amassed seven Super Bowl rings.
Despite thanking him for his history and social media successes, a source said Bundchen was already planning to leave unless he retired.
A source revealed to OK magazine:
“She was on his case when he was still playing for the Patriots.
[Bundchen] set down the terms: It’s me or football.”
Brady spent 20 seasons with the New England Patriots before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
According to the source, she was worried about her husband’s physical and emotional health due to the game’s wear and tear.
They went on to say that the Brazilian beauty had urged him to quit smoking every day for the previous six years, but her husband would say one thing and then do another. He seemed undecided about leaving the field.
“It took years, but she wore him down until he finally realized her logic.”
Tom Brady announced less than six weeks after his shocking announcement that he will NOT retire from football in March and will return to the Buccaneers.
On Twitter, he stated that his place is on the field, not in the stands.
Unfortunately, his change of heart resulted in family strife.
Gisele Bundchen reportedly left their Florida home a few days ago and traveled to Costa Rica because they were “in a quarrel.”
Brady’s decision to play football again after his first retirement announcement was said to be the source of their marital problems.
Bundchen thought it was unfair because she had always been the sole caregiver for their children, with little to no assistance from her husband.
Brady intended to retire to devote more time to his family, but he changed his mind.
