For Kim Kardashian’s birthday, a supposed night out in Las Vegas became a fast food dinner.
Kim Kardashian celebrated her 42nd birthday on October 21st. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star boarded Kylie Jenner’s private jet with her entourage for a trip to Las Vegas. Kim expressed her excitement in a series of Instagram stories about having her birthday dinner and watching a live Usher performance.
Stephanie Shepherd, Kim’s former assistant, and Simon Huck, who shared photos and videos from the celebration on his Instagram Stories, were among the family friends who reportedly attended Kim’s party.
However, things worsened when their plane was forced to return to Los Angeles due to bad weather. The pilot informed the “SKIMS” founder that their private jet could not land safely due to hazardous weather conditions. Wind gusts had reached 60 mph at the time.
An Instagram story posted of the birthday celebrant reads:
“The plane couldn’t land due to the wind so looks like our Carbone party and @usher concert isn’t happening and we are heading back home.”
Furthermore, the reality star’s weekend plans in Vegas were not the only ones thwarted by the inclement weather. The first day of the “When We Were Young” music festival, which takes place on the festival grounds in Las Vegas, has also been canceled by organizers due to inclement weather.
Despite the unexpected plans change, Kim and her friends made the most of the evening by heading to a Los Angeles institution, In-N-Out burgers.
In an Instagram story, Kim wore a white boa to cover up while ordering from a fast food restaurant.
Kim said in a video she posted on Instagram:
“We stopped at In-N-Out because we couldn’t make it to Carbone in Vegas.”
In a separate Instagram story, the fashion influencer showed off her ability to roll with the punches by not complaining while happily devouring an In-N-Out burger. The rest of the Kardashians left the fast-food restaurant in signature party outfits.
