This year, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty show volume four will feature a controversial figure.
According to a production crew member, the show will premiere on Amazon Prime on November 9th.
The notorious A-lister Johnny Depp is said to be making a “star” appearance at the “Diamond” singer’s highly anticipated annual fashion show.
According to TMZ, the former “Pirates of the Caribbean” star will be a surprise guest, and the Barbados native chose him to be a part of the alluring performance.
According to the website, Johnny, embroiled in a contentious legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard for six months, will not walk the runway alongside models but will instead steal the spotlight in one of the show’s “star moments.” Guests in the past have included Cindy Crawford and even Erykah Badu.
Johnny’s distinct presence will make him the first man in Savage x Fenty’s history to be considered “fancy.”
According to reports, Johnny has already taped his segment for the show, and he and the “We Found Love” singer are very excited about the collaboration.
However, Rihanna and Johnny’s camp has yet to make any public announcements as of this writing.
The allegations were made after Amazon Prime announced in a press release that the fourth volume of Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty collection would be available in over 240 countries worldwide.
According to the statement:
“the groundbreaking event is pushing the standard again with a fresh all-star roster of models, actresses, and some of music’s greatest personalities.”
Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie collection is reportedly worth $1 billion, and she has over 4.5 million social media followers. In its first fiscal year, it earned $550 million.
Johnny Depp has appeared in several high-profile films this year despite his troubles.
In August, the “Edward Scissorhands” star unexpectedly appeared as a Moonman at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
He also surprised fans when he returned to his hometown of Kentucky after performing in front of packed houses with his rockstar pal, Jeff Beck.
Johnny appears to have been extremely busy recently, attempting to resurrect his music career.
This comes after reports that Disney is eager to rehire him for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series after firing him following a scandal involving physical abuse of his then-wife Amber Heard.
