According to Media Take Out, the couple married in April in a private ceremony in California.
RiRi and the rapper married without a prenuptial agreement after dating since 2020.
According to a source, the covert wedding was actually filmed for A$AP Rocky’s music video for “DMB.”
They revealed:
“The visual in A$AP Rocky’s video ‘DMB.’ were from the actual marriage ceremony. It wasn’t a video shot; it was the actual thing.”
In the video, the “We Found Love” singer and her partner are seen getting married.
The rapper, 34, wore a black suit with a dark tie, while the founder of Savage x Fenty wore a red veil over a halter-neck dress.
The “Praise, the Lord” rapper wore black shades and a custom grill emblazoned with the words “Marry Me,” while Rihanna matched her boyfriend’s custom grill emblazoned with the words “I do.”
According to a close friend of the couple, no prenuptial agreement was signed because it was something they both desired.
A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, is also entitled to Rihanna’s billion-dollar fortune because they married in California.
According to the outlet, under California’s community property law, spouses are commonly thought to own property acquired by either partner during a marriage.
Without an agreement, the court will examine their marital wealth and order a 50/50 distribution by Family Code Section 2550, which requires the common estate to be divided equally upon divorce.
According to Forbes, Rihanna’s net worth in 2021 was $1.7 billion; according to the law, half of that belonged to her alleged spouse, which means A$AP Rocky. Rocky is now worth a billion dollars. He is worth ten million dollars.
