Bill Ray Cyrus has found love again, and he revealed that the process was not easy, but his fiancee, Firerose, maybe his end game this time.

After his marriage to Tish Cyrus ended, news of the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer’s engagement to someone new quickly circulated the internet, though it was unconfirmed at the time.

Firerose revealed to fans how the 61-year-old proposed to her:

“It was really just this moment where Billy looked at me and said ‘Do you wanna marry me?’ He didn’t get down on one knee or anything,”

“He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.'”

While fans questioned the relationship, noting that it came as a surprise to them, the couple revealed that it was actually a love story in the making.

Cyrus and Firerose finally come forward in an interview with People to clear the air and share how their love blossomed and bloomed.

“On that given day, Firerose came out of the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don’t know, recognition. I was like, ‘This girl’s a star.’ She told me she’d had an audition and I said, ‘Well, I’m sure you got the job.'”

They had kept in touch as friends since then. Firerose said:

“Our friendship was so solid over the years.”

Their shared love of music brought them together, and in July 2021, they released a duet titled “New Day.”

Despite the fact that Cyrus’ divorce was finalized earlier this year, a source revealed that their marriage has long been over, which the singer confirmed.

He said:

“Everyone knew that that relationship was over a long time ago. Everybody’s turning the page. It’s been a lot, but everyone knew that it was time for a change.”
