Kanye West’s recent string of controversies isn’t over, as he’s now involved in another issue that has resulted in him being banned from a social media platform.
According to Billboard, the “Donda” hitmaker has been suspended from the website Clubhouse after making other anti-Semitic remarks during a fan Q&A over the weekend.
A representative for the social networking site confirmed to the outlet that they “shut down” a conversation last Saturday after West allegedly violated their community guidelines.
They added:
“There’s absolutely no place for bullying, hate speech or abuse on our platform as explicitly stated in our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.”
According to The Wrap, the rapper and Wack100 hosted a private Q&A for fans on the social media platform, but the live stream abruptly ended at the 50-minute mark.
West was reportedly suspended from the website immediately after making anti-Semitic remarks. Throughout the conversation, the two stars discussed the rapper’s recent problems, including Adidas’ decision to end its partnership with him.
Furthermore, the hip-hop artist addressed his concerns with CEO Ari Emmanuel, telling him that he is at “the bottom of the power structure.”
Fans recall that Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband previously wrote a lengthy anti-Semitic rant with a graphic Instagram post for the CEO.
West was eventually kicked off the platform after sharing a conspiracy theory about Jews being “used by the Chinese” to control Black people before going on to say that Jews are “just middlemen.”
The rapper’s recent string of controversies began on October 3 when he wore a shirt that read “White Lives Matter.”
It didn’t stop there, as he continued to post hateful comments on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter, as well as in interviews, prompting several brands to cut ties with him.
According to Forbes, West lost his billionaire status after Adidas ended its partnership with him on October 25, citing a policy that does not tolerate hate speech.
Creative Artists Agency, GAP, Foot Locket, TJ Maxx, Madame Tussauds, Balenciaga, and many more have severed ties with the rapper.
