North West, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest child, are at ease in front of the camera.
North, 9, paid tribute to Michael Jackson, the late King of Pop, on TikTok with a friend. She performed a lip-sync to the late singer’s 1998 hit “Man In The Mirror,” showcasing her dance moves and music video acting abilities.
West sported a fake mustache and goatee in the video. She rubbed shaving cream all over it.
North received several items from Jackson’s wardrobe nearly three years prior to the release of the video. Kardashian claims that her daughter was a huge fan of the “Smooth Criminal” singer.
Kim revealed in a video posted to her Instagram Story on Christmas Eve 2019:
“North is a really big Michael Jackson fan, and we knew she would love this. We won this on an auction for Northie for Christmas.”
A jacket was among the items North received from Jackson’s wardrobe. They temporarily altered it to fit North, according to the “Kardashians” star, with the option of lengthening the body and sleeves as she grows.
The celebrity mom said:
“It can grow with her, and she can have this for her whole life. And she is so grateful and so excited.”
While North appeared to enjoy TikTok, her father, Kanye, was not pleased with her being exposed on social media, even if she shared the account with her mother.
Us Weekly quoted the Yeezy designer as saying in a since-deleted Instagram video:
“I just got off the phone with Kim. I told her to stop antagonizing me with this TikTok thing. I said, ‘It’s never again.’ I am her father. I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family, and the media tries to promote something. I said I am not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok, by Disney. I have a say-so.”
West and Kardashian divorced in November, nearly two years after they announced their separation. They agreed to have “equal access” to their children, and the “Donda” singer agreed to pay the reality star $200,000 in child support each month.
He only bears half of their children’s security and educational costs. North, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, are the former couple’s four children.
