Reese Witherspoon shared festive family photos on social media on Christmas Day.
On Sunday, Witherspoon took to Instagram to wish her fans a Merry Christmas and to share adorable family photos.
The first photo showed her three children, Ava Phillippe, 23, Deacon Phillippe, 19, and Tennessee Toth, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe and current husband Jim Toth.
Ava and Deacon were dressed alike, but in different colors. Ava chose green, while Deacon chose a light gray. Tennessee was dressed in a white hoodie. With their Christmas stockings hanging behind them, the three all smiled at the camera.
In the second photo, Witherspoon, Toth, and her three children posed in front of a massive Christmas tree. Toth wore a blue-green shirt and a Santa hat, while the “Legally Blonde” actress wore a white sweatshirt.
Witherspoon wrote in the caption:
“Wishing all of YOU a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family to yours!”
Fans of Reese Witherspoon were overjoyed to see new photos of her family and wished them a Merry Christmas as well.
One wrote:
“Sweetest crew ever. Hope it was sprinkled with magic.”
Another supporter wrote:
“Reese and family, have a very beautiful, merry Christmas and a happy new year.”
Another follower wrote:
“Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family.”
In a separate post, Witherspoon shared more photos from their Christmas festivities, this time with her mother Betty and nieces Abby James Witherspoon and Draper Witherspoon. The photos were taken during their family dinner.
Fans couldn’t help but notice the mother and daughter’s striking resemblance in one photo of Reese and Ava posing in front of the Christmas tree wearing matching black coats.
One fan wrote:
“You two in [photo No. 5] are definitely twins. Beautiful family. Happy holidays.”
Another follower commented:
“Merry Christmas, Reese and family! And do you and Ava ever look like twins!”
In the past, Witherspoon has acknowledged Ava’s striking resemblance to her.
When her son Tennessee was only four years old, the “Big Little Lies” star revealed that her youngest child sometimes misidentifies her daughter Ava as his mother.
Witherspoon told Southern Living:
“The kids all have funny and unique relationships with each other. Ava is like another parent to Tennessee, like his other mother. I think sometimes he even gets confused — he told Ava ‘Happy Mother’s Day!'”
