Ozzy Osbourne will no longer perform live on stage because he announced his retirement from touring.

Furthermore, the 74-year-old rock singer has canceled all future performances while recovering from spinal surgery.

Sharon Osbourne’s wife has recently dealt with a number of health issues, including being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease four years ago.

Ozzy’s 2019 European tour was originally scheduled to begin in May. However, after three postponements, it has now been formally canceled, along with future dates.

The lead singer of Black Sabbath performed his final tour performance on December 18 at Ozzfest in Inglewood as part of the “No More Tours II” farewell tour.

On Wednesday, Ozzy apologized on Instagram for “disappointing” his millions of followers and admitted that he never imagined his touring days would end “this way.”

The father of three admitted that he was still dealing with health issues seven months after the spinal surgery that prevented paralysis and in the midst of his ongoing Parkinson’s disease battle.

The rock star further told his fans:

“My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. ”

“However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.”

All tickets, according to reports, will be returned.

Ozzy Osbourne has stated that he may be permanently crippled as a result of his first and final spinal surgery in 2019. He had a terrible fall months after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease the same year, which exacerbated the neck damage from his quad bike accident in 2003.

The injuries even caused nerve damage from his quad bike accident, in which he cracked eight ribs and a neck vertebra.

Meanwhile, fans’ main concern is whether Ozzy Osbourne will be able to continue living the high life after he retires from touring.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the main singer of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, a British rock artist, has a net worth of $220 million that isn’t entirely derived from music.

He has recently dabbled in various endeavors such as reality television, memoirs, and even real estate, which has helped him increase his bank balance.

According to Popnable, Ozzy Osbourne’s yearly salary is around $164,000 USD.

So, whether he continues to tour, release new songs, or even appear on another reality show, it is safe to say that one of the world’s biggest rock stars is set for life.
