After being spotted canoodling at Coachella, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello turned heads and raised eyebrows, but it appears they’re taking their reunion to the next level.
The “Stitches” singer was spotted picking up flowers for his date night with the “Seniorita” singer, according to Page Six.
In addition to the flowers, the date night appears to be extremely romantic because Mendes purchased firewood.
Who knows what will happen next with the couple, but fans like where this is going.
While Mendes was out and about getting groceries and flowers, Cabello was spotted making her way to his West Hollywood home, according to the Daily Mail UK.
She was dressed in a rust-colored tracksuit with the hood down and a cloth covering her face, but there was no mistaking her: the curvaceous figure walking towards Mendes’ house was none other than his ex-girlfriend.
According to a source, the couple has reunited since being spotted at Coachella:
“They’re enjoying getting reacquainted and seeing where it goes.”
Of course, the rekindling comes as no surprise, as the source also stated that they “care about each other a lot.”
Mendes and Cabello’s relationship dates back decades. They first met when they both opened for Austin Mahone’s tour.
Cabello even admitted to having feelings for the Canadian singer:
“I remember I wanted to hang out with you, but you were always on the tour bus, just learning guitar.”
Similarly, Mendes was taken with the former Fifth Harmony member, “the only person” who spoke to him during the tour.
They eventually collaborated on a song called “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” their first collaboration, and “Seniorita” followed a few years later.
They have maintained a friendly relationship since then, but fans have been shipping them nonstop, and they were overjoyed to learn that they had begun dating in the summer of 2019.
They disgusted netizens a few months later when they addressed their “lousy” kissing on Instagram.
Mendes said:
“So we saw like on Twitter and stuff, you guys saying about the way we were kissing and how it looks weird. Like we kiss like fish.”
He continued before demonstrating:
“We just want to show you how we really kiss.”
