Anne Heche was taken off life support one week after being involved in an accident in one of Los Angeles’s neighborhoods. When she died, she was just 53 years old.
According to In Touch Weekly, Heche may have been attempting suicide when she purposefully crashed her car into a home.
Heche had previously struck the carport of an apartment building a few blocks distant before the second collision. But she escaped the scene uninjured and even sprinted away from those attempting to save her.
The tipster said:
“Everyone thought Anne’s life was back on track – she was working, had projects lined up, and seemed content. So, this nightmare of a day is shocking. Some think it was a suicide attempt or that she was drunk or high, while others believe it was a cry for help.”
According to the source, Heche’s brother died after crashing his car into a tree. And the actress has already stated that she believes it was suicide.
So there are claims that what happened to Heche and her brother are hauntingly similar, which could only suggest that she attempted suicide.
Heche’s problems have only become worse over the last few years. And some of her relatives and friends were aware of her situation. However, they believed that things were improving months before she died.
They had no idea she owed the bank thousands of dollars before her death.

Following her passing, some of her industry colleagues paid tribute to Heche. Ellen DeGeneres, her ex-girlfriend, remained silent about her death, but the comedian earlier stated that she does not want anyone to be affected.
Because of Heche’s death, DeGeneres’ previous interview made news once more. Years ago, she accused Heche of exploiting her and courting her for ulterior motives.
