According to reports, Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir will reveal how he once wished he had never been born a royal.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tenure as senior members of the royal family ended with the infamous Megxit. The story is said to be included in his upcoming memoir, which he is currently editing after putting it on hold following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl has revealed what else might be included in the book, including Prince Harry’s unexpected wish.

Nicholl appeared on a recent episode of Palace Confidential and discussed Prince Harry’s wish that he had never been born a royal.

She stated:

“When you’re having that sort of an advance, that’s not going to be for Harry talking about his philanthropic work. That’s going to be the inside story of being born the spare, and what it entails. I sat down with Harry before and he said to me, ‘there are many times I wish I wasn’t born a prince.'”

According to the royal expert, Prince Harry’s vision differed from what the Palace had in mind for him, as the royal family wanted him to be Prince William’s wingman.

Several reporters and experts have previously addressed Nicholl’s story about Prince Harry’s miserable fate as Prince William’s brother.

According to Sky News reporter Andrew Bolt, the Duke of Sussex dislikes being the second son. As a result, he became the heir’s spare but never received the same attention as his brother.

Another source told New Idea:

“They might be family, but there’s a lot of jealousy there. Harry might claim he hates the press, but he has to admit he enjoyed lording it over William, given he’s grown up being the spare to the heir.”

Prince Harry reportedly felt overlooked because Prince William is closer to the throne in the British line of succession. Furthermore, he was said to be envious of Prince William’s popularity.

As a result, he compared himself to a shadow.

The royal feud between the royal brothers has continued for many years. Unfortunately, royal experts believed that the memoir’s release would complicate the brothers’ relationship.
