Kate Middleton went out on her own the day after Prince Harry’s explosive book “Spare” was released.
The Princess of Wales, who turned 41 on Monday, was spotted driving a car near Windsor Castle in England on Wednesday morning, according to People.
During the outing, the future queen consort appeared to be wearing a tan coat and a brown scarf, according to a photo obtained by the outlet.
It was Middleton’s first public appearance since Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare” was released on Tuesday and he began his book tour.
Many of her brother-in-revelations law’s in the memoir centered on Middleton, including an account of an awkward encounter between the Princess of Wales and Meghan Markle involving lip gloss and the two women’s alleged drama over bridesmaid dresses that left Markle “sobbing.”
Prince Harry claimed in his book that Markle asked to borrow Middleton’s lip gloss moments before the 2018 Royal Foundation Forum, the Sussexes and Waleses’ first joint engagement because she had forgotten her own. Middleton was reportedly upset about it.
Prince Harry wrote, Page Six reported:
“Kate, taken aback, went into her handbag and reluctantly pulled out a small tube. Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced.”
In his memoir, Prince Harry also discussed his wife and sister-in-alleged law’s feud over bridesmaid dresses just days before his wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018.
He claimed Middleton texted Markle about her daughter Princess Charlotte’s dress being “too big, too long, too baggy.” When Markle directed her to a tailor waiting at Kensington Palace, Middleton allegedly demanded that all six young bridesmaids’ dresses be remade despite the fact that the wedding was only four days away.
According to Harry, the conversation “went back and forth” until Middleton agreed to go to the tailor.
Prince Harry later claimed to have discovered Markle “sobbing on the floor” inside their home.
He also claimed that the two women got into a heated argument in 2018 after the Duchess of Sussex mentioned Middleton’s “baby brain due to her hormones.”
Middleton, who gave birth to her third child, Prince Louis, a month before the Sussexes’ wedding, chastised Markle for discussing pregnancy hormones, according to Harry.
The Duke of Sussex then claimed that Middleton’s husband, Prince William, pointed his finger at Markle and made a “rude” remark. According to People, the former “Suits” star was hurt by the reprimand.
But his stories about his sister-in-law were not all negative. Prince Harry recalled having a favorable impression of Middleton when his older brother introduced them years before meeting Markle.
Prince Harry wrote in his book, Us Weekly reported:
“She was carefree, sweet, kind. She’d done a gap year in Florence, knew about photography, art. And clothes. She loved clothes. Her name was Kate,”
He added:
“I liked seeing Kate laugh. Better yet, I liked making her laugh. And I was quite good at it. My transparently silly side connected with her heavily disguised silly side. Whenever I worried that Kate was going to be the one to take Willy from me, I consoled myself with thoughts of all our future laughing fits together, and I told myself how great everything would be when I had a serious girlfriend who could laugh along with us.”
